Job Description
Apical Resource Group has been given an excellent permanent opportunity to help fill an amazing new opening with a Premier client. We are looking for the following

Position Title:
Regional Manager/Director of Revenue Management

Discipline/Main Function:
Responsible to assist the VP of Revenue Management with maximizing revenue potential for all hotels within the Region through field support, property audits, distribution channel management and training. This position also serves as a resource to the RVPSM’s and Senior Regional Team Members.

Reports To:
VP of Global Revenue Management

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
BUSINESS RESULTS

Through extensive familiarity with the region hotels’ inventory, pricing strategy and trends, become a resource for Revenue Management colleagues in the field as well as the Regional & Corporate Team.

Conduct Revenue Management Systems and Process Audits for existing hotels and communicate results to appropriate leaders. Follow up on Audits to ensure compliance with standards and optimize revenue opportunities.

Assist hotels and actively engage with optimizing their pricing, inventory and selling strategies through all distribution channels and act as a strategic support.

Analyze hotels current placement and distribution in all sales channels and co-ordinate 3rd party Internet (OTA) strategies for new and existing hotels.

Assist hotels and Regional/Corporate Team in analyzing market share trends.

Develop new tools and best practices to assist hotels with more effective Revenue Management execution and the use of all Revenue Management related systems.

Assist as Task Force for vacant positions or prolonged Revenue Management absences.

Assist VP of Global RM with developing and executing a successful and consistent Revenue Management Training Program for the field, for existing and new hotels.

Assist with the sourcing, interviewing and training of on-property Revenue Management candidates.

Actively engage with hotel pre-opening teams to ensure best practices are communicated, understood and implemented, room types are set up according to the clients standards, pricing philosophy is embraced and executed accurately, etc.

Take a leadership role in the design and development of Total Hotel Revenue Management initiatives for the Hotels in the Region.

Further develop on-property Reservations Department standards and process to generate more revenue through reservations sales.

Provide support to VP of Global RM, RVPSM’s and Senior Regional Team Members.
