Product/Market Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Our client, an online travel company, is seeking diligent, sales driven In-Market Reps to grow existing accounts and develop new accounts in order to meet sales and profitability goals.

The successful candidates will be flexible, enthusiastic individuals working to analyze, measure, position, package, and promote our product offerings, as well as participating in the formulation and revision of comprehensive marketing and selling strategies. Must have the ability to fully and independently manage their assigned territory to achieve maximum profitability.

Job Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Grow existing accounts and develop new accounts in order to meet sales and profitability goals

- Work with Corporate Office and Clients to develop, analyze and recommend promotional opportunities

- Maintain Site Content Freshness with articles about Markets current, new, and upcoming events keeping Marketing Management up to date with all such events and topics for articles.

- Establish a solid base of reciprocal linking in your assigned area

- Work to develop and grow activities and vacation add-ons

- Manage the development, execution and fulfillment of promotions, recommend future promotions.

- Assist in overall Market strategy development

- Maintain Market Sites including site maintenance, updates, overall direction, etc. working with Marketing Management Team

- Work with Corporate Office to maintain inventory; provide Agent Sales Team members regular updates and reports

- Interface and provide support to both Agent Sales Team and Clients

QUALIFICATIONS :

- Passion for analyzing products, customers and market dynamics

- Outstanding written and oral communication skills

- Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail and intrinsic editorial expertise

- Strong collaboration, team building, and personnel development skills and ability to work effectively within a matrix organization

- Ability to multi-task and adapt within a constantly changing environment

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, needing minimum direction

- 4 years hospitality Industry experience preferred
